The 5.4 v-8 has plenty of power for any normal payload that can fit in the Short box. It has the towing package for RV/Camper. Extra Large Extended gets a bit over 19 mpg on long, highway trips @ 60 mph & drops to 17.5-18.0 @ 70mph. It shows 17mpg on digital readout most of the time. It does get driven around town a little but mostly longer trips. Air works too well :)...
